Cornwall Air Ambulance
The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust is a charity that provides a dedicated helicopter emergency medical service for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The service also has two critical care cars that operate when the helicopter is unable to fly. The crew attend more than 1000 incidents per year.

Penhaligon’s Friends
Penhaligon’s Friends is a Cornish charity supporting bereaved children, young people, parents and carers throughout the county. They offer children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources for children and parents.

They also deliver an extensive programme of training and advice for other childcare professionals and those interested in becoming a volunteer.

Children’s Activities Accessibility Programme (CAAP)
CAAP is a charity formed by a group of parents of children with additional needs, to support families to access activities during school holidays.

The criteria for CAAP are children and young people aged 0-25 years who have (or had) a statement/EHCP to attend a mainstream school or go to a special school, ARB or PRU.

Cornwall Heart Unit Fund (CHUF)
CHUF is one of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charities, raising money to support a heart unit for Cornwall.

Cornwall Hospice Care
Cornwall Hospice Care is a charity-funded hospice based in Cornwall providing palliative care. It operates Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle.

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
RDA is committed to providing life-changing experiences for disabled children and adults across the UK. Their network of centres and volunteers are providing opportunities every day of the week.  Their horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 18,000 amazing volunteers and qualified coaches at nearly 500 RDA centres all over the UK.
